Veterans Day Ceremony

Join The Historic Trust and the Community Military Appreciation Committee in a Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Artillery Barracks at 605 Hatheway Rd., Vancouver, WA 98661.

The free public observance will include words of tribute by special guest speakers, musical performances by local schools, and military displays. This year’s keynote speakers are 3rd Congressional District Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler, Vancouver Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle, Vancouver Police Department Assistant Chief Troy Price, and 1st Sergeant Michael Robertson, U.S. Army, retired.

This outdoor event is free and open to all ages. Please dress for the weather. The limited tented seating available can accommodate 150.

Before or after the ceremony, make time to see the Fighting for the Right to Fight Exhibit: African American Experiences in WWII” exhibit in the Artillery Barracks. Presented by The Historic Trust, the exhibit will be open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and re-open after the ceremony has concluded. Exhibit entry is free on Veterans Day.
